However, I think the right things are happening with this team. The kids are emerging as the keys to the franchise and I think it is important for that to happen. For an "old" team, the Rangers have a lot of youth and to see them finally start to embrace that is encouraging. Dubinsky, Dawes, Callahan need to continue to emerge while they are backed with veteran guidance and develop into stars. I think the big question for the immediate future is: Can Jagr redefine himself as a role player/mentor and take a pay cut to finish his career here? I would not think his ego would allow it, but his attitude when he speaks surprises me this year.
